A HSA is a tax-advantaged savings account that you use to pay for IRS-qualified healthcare expenses as well as deductibles, coinsurance, prescriptions, vision and dental care

Unused funds will roll over year to year (no “use it or lose it”penalty)

Potential to build more savings through investing

Additional retirement savings—after age 65, funds can be withdrawn for any purpose without penalty

Contributions made by all parties to a Health Savings Account (HSA) cannot exceed the annual HSA limit set by the IRS

The 2025 annual limits are:

$4,300 Individual

$8,550 Family
-
OAZ matches your contribution up to $25 per pay period

If you are age 55 or older, you may contribute an additional $1,000 as a catch-up contribution

Note: If you are enrolled in the UMR Silver or UMR Gold with HSA, you may NOT contribute to the Health Care Flexible Spending Account.
